1. What is boudoir photography?
Boudoir photography is a style of intimate portraiture that celebrates your beauty, confidence, and sensuality. It's about capturing you in a way that feels empowering, whether you're wearing lingerie, a favourite outfit, or nothing at all – it’s totally up to you!
2. I’m nervous! Is that normal?
Absolutely, almost everyone feels a little nervous before their shoot. But don’t worry, I’ll guide you through every pose, help you relax, and create a fun, empowering atmosphere. Most clients leave feeling more confident than ever!
3. Do I need to know how to pose?
Not at all. I’ll guide you through flattering poses that suit your body type and make you feel amazing. You don’t need any experience, just trust the process and have fun with it!
4. What should I wear for my shoot?
Bring outfits that make you feel confident and sexy. Think lingerie sets, bodysuits, oversized shirts, or even your partner’s favourite shirt. I’ll send you a prep guide to help you choose outfits that work well on camera.
5. Can I do a boudoir shoot if I’m not a model or don’t love my body?
Yes, 100%. Boudoir is for every body, all shapes, sizes, and ages. My job is to highlight your best angles and help you see yourself the way others see you: beautiful.
6. Will my photos be edited?
Yes, all final images are professionally retouched to remove things like blemishes or bruises, anything non-permanent, while still keeping your natural beauty. I don’t believe in over-editing, you’ll still look like you, just the most confident version.
7. Can I bring someone with me to the shoot?
Of course! You're welcome to bring a friend for support if it helps you feel more at ease. I do ask that they be respectful of the creative process and your comfort and don’t take any photos or videos during the session.
8. How long does the session take?
Most sessions last around 5 hours. This includes time for hair and makeup, 2 hour photoshoot, same day reveal and plenty of time to relax and enjoy the experience.
9. Do you offer hair and makeup?
Yes! I work with professional hair and makeup artists who specialise in natural, camera-ready looks for every session. It’s a lovely way to pamper yourself before the shoot.
10. Will my photos be kept private?
Absolutely. Your privacy is a top priority. No images are ever shared without your written permission. You choose if and how your images are used, and many clients choose to keep them completely private.
11. How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance. If you need your images by a specific date (like for a wedding or anniversary) then I recommend booking 3 months before that date. This allows enough time for editing and product delivery.
12. What products do you offer?
I offer luxury albums, prints, wall art, and digital collections. During your reveal session, you’ll be able to view all your photos and choose what you'd love to take home.
13. How much does a boudoir session cost?
Session fees start at $299 and include your photoshoot, expert posing guidance, 3 digital images and a same-day image reveal. Products and extra images are purchased separately. I’ll walk you through all the options during your consultation.
14. How do I prepare for my photoshoot?
This depends on what you normally have as your skincare and beauty routine. I send a detailed document via email with timelines and suggestions on how to prepare for your photoshoot after you have book. So you don’t have to worry about getting anything too early or in the wrong order, such as waxing, spray tans, shaving, etc.
15. How do I book my session?
